A New Journey

Yeah, the time has come.. It’s 19th September and it is time for me to get very serious to start a new chapter in my life.. It is a period in my life that will be full of learning, struggling, sacrificing and understanding people around me. It is time to push for my professional accounting certificate which is the lovely MICPA..

I would like to thank my family, friends, teachers and those who supported me before I’m here. A special thank you also to my scholar which is Yayasan Peneraju who believe in me to continue the journey to be a professional accountant.

So, this is me who finally going to live in Subang Jaya, to be more specific, Taylor College…

The first week of class is almost done.. What really make me happy about going to class is instead just having the Tax Class for the first paper, the program also offer a self-development program called Nurture Development Program (NDP) conducted by two Taylor College’s coordinators which are Pn. Aiza and Mrs. Delicia. This is a class where it’s going to help you develop yourself as a person in every aspects. While for the tax subject, it was conducted by Mr. Ravi and I think I had to struggle more than the others in class because I had left the tax subject for quite a long time back in 2013.. However it is good to know that your classmates are willing to help you.

There are fell things I’ve learned this week but I think I’m going to focus on the NDP class. Those are the few things that I can remember as now:
      a)      Don’t judge people easily – you have to get along with others to know them and it is okay if you have different principle, attitude or background. Learn to respect them.
      b)      MERPSV Check-in = Check your Mental, Emotion, Rational, Physical, Spiritual, Vocationally often
      c)       Johari Window = About your talents which consist of Open, Blind, Hidden and Unknown
      d)      The Bubble = Giving the time for yourself to reflect back at your life goal
      e)      Lifeline = Looking back at what you have face all your life

To tell the truth, the NDP was my highlight of the week because I discovered new things to be applied in my life & meeting new people in the class.

One thing that bother me this week is to adapt with the location and surrounding of the campus since it is quite far to find food since I did not bring my motorcycle yet and it is hard for me to do some exercise since the is no field and not so many sports being played here. The only thing I did was go for a jog at the recreational park.

One of the achievements I had so far here is I think I had manage to improve myself a little bit as a person in accepting others opinion and attitude. We cannot expect everyone are the same as us and god make different people with different attitude, nature, interest, strength and weakness, that is why we need one other in this world because we live to complement each other…
